The Georgia Tech Panama Logistics Innovation and Research Center, founded in 2010 through collaboration between the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Government of Panama, operates as a non-profit organization based in Panama City. Its primary mission is to enhance Panama's commercial and logistical capacities, aiming to establish the country as the central Logistics and Commercial Hub of the Americas. Recognizing its expertise and pivotal role, the Office of the Presidency appointed the Center as the Technical Arm of the Logistics Cabinet in 2015, further solidifying its influence and significance in the region's logistical landscape.
